Busted rear window
anyone experience their rear window seperating from the convertable top...if so where did you go to get it fixed. I tried safelite they dont touch convertables and Chevy says go to an auto upholester(spelling).

Mine started to seperate at the bottom. There have been a number of threads about this. You can do a search. I reglued mine before it became completely detached. It's gone through the harsh Oklahoma sun and heat without any more problems.

Thanks guys I found the articles extremely usefull..you are absolutely correct AC54ME the price quotes I got were $1400 to $1700 and everyone told me that the glass is electronically bonded at the factory and is not field repairable..I opted to go with a new top and by the way GIECO doesnot cover it nor does the extended warranty I purchased when I bought the car .. needless to say I,m still pissed..but I miss driving the car.I will let you know how the car comes out it willtake 5 days to get the top and a day to install it....
holy cow!!! keep us informed. just something else to worry about happening to my car.
