Default Changing License Plate Bulbs (help)...

I'm going to change the license plate bulbs on my 99 vert to LEDs. Anything I should know before I dive in? I ran a search and saw some folks on the C6 forum talking about torx screws and having to remove the two inner tail lights to get at the bulbs. Is that necessary on a C5? I haven't taken a look yet...

Very straightforward. There's 2 screws per light. When I did my LED's I also picked up an LED for my exhaust plate. Forum vendor, Corvette Enhancements sells both. Love the look.

Remove the license plate.
Four screws hold the backup light plate in place.
To change the light for the plate you will have to remove the tail lights

I'm talking about the two lights above the plate. Looks like two screws on each side. I slide the whole unit down, replace bulb, slide back up, and replace screws. Doesn't look like there's any need to pull out the tailights. I have plenty of room up there to realign the light unit with the screw holes...
