I've got a Mag Red coupe also and on a sunny day it's not uncommon for me to get compliments on the color as well. What's funny is that it wasn't my first choice. I bought it because the price/mileage were on par with what I was looking for.
I've been asked if it's a custom job, what the paint code is, and even had prof painters say it's one of the nicer metallic reds they've seen.
