Default MAMotorworks Order Problem

Posting this in C5 section to share my experience and to listen to input.

Back on Aug. 21, 2008 I ordered a pair of "Accent Style" seatcovers for my 94, (blk w/ red stitching), from Mid America Motorworks (MAM). I got an email for a clearance sale during Aug. 21-25 and these seat covers were on the list for only $104 for both seats.
I couldn't believe it either, so I called MAM to see if it was for just one or both seats. The salesman said it was the correct price for both seats. I ordered them on the spot.
I still cannot get MAM to send them to me. I'm getting upset about this.

I have called MAM 5 times to get my order and I keep getting the run-around. They say they are in stock, but tried to charge me $450.00.

I told them I want them for the advertised price I was shown. I was told over the phone that they will inquire about them 3 different times, but they have never called me back and haven't had any information for me , other than MAM did place my order on the 21st.

I really want the seat covers and want to stay on good terms with them, but if MAM doesn't honor their add, I will not buy from them in the future.

Sorry for going on and on, but I needed to vent.

Anyone else see that same email?

Anyone else order a set?

Anyone else had problems with them, too?

I feel that they should maybe explain to you that it was a error and they just can't sell them for that, We are all human and make mistakes. I would just let it go and just remember this in the future when you want to order something. Trying to press the issue isn't going to get you anywhere.

Do you have the email? Post it if you do. I've never had an issue with MAM.

Has me a bit puzzled as well. Even if the made a mistake an was single price it would 0nly be $208,,not $450. Have dealt with them in the past and have gotten good/quick service. Seems they are usually a bit pricey,,but the only supplier that throws a free party every year!!if you have the original email I would forward it to them as then it would be kind of hard to dispute!! They have a public relations gal Perrie Richards I believe ,,try contacting her.

I agree with forwarding the e-mail to them with the price and asking them to honor it. If they don't, then you may have to take your business elsewhere. I've always had good service from them.

I do have the original email, but the link with the clearance just says "Expired" and won't show the list. I didn't think to save it.
I will call them today to see what's what.
Nothing bad going on. I'm just waiting for an answer.

GOOD NEWS!!!

Today, after talking with Jerri, (my contact at MAM), she worked with Lori Warman and got my order straightened out.
My faith in humanity has been restored.

Even though it was a typo in the add, they honored the price and it will be shipped Monday.

Thank you Jerri and Lori for your hard work in getting this resolved. (probably won't see this, but I appreciate it anyway.)

I feel much better about MAM now and hope meet them at Funfest next year.

Glad to see MAM came through for you and honored their mistake, that's stand up business to me.
