Went down to Kentucky to visit the family this week. Left Sunday, came back today. The vette performed great! Even through about a 100 miles of rain today. Went down 600 miles in 7hrs, 14min., came back in about 8 1/2. Rain slowed me down.
Wednesday went down to the museum. Charged the cam batteries all night, and they crapped out on me after only a few pics. I was TICKED! But, I got a couple to share anyway:
Hit 50K on the way down:
Vette parking only!:
Happy to see my 7yr. old niece, Haley:
Just a nice foilage pic:

I got lotsa pics of the family, after I got some new re-chargable batteries. Shoulda got them before I went to the museum. Ya think?
Nice shots Tim......sorry I didn't get a chance to see you this trip......let me know in advance, if you can, next time you're down this way and I'll be sure to work something out......

I know how the work thing goes Jim. You gotta quit those double shifts man. Will make you old before your time. I'm walking proof!
Next time I'll have a little more advanced notice, before I come down. Plus, I'll make sure I have a weekend in there too.
Good luck at the Nashville show this weekend. Looking forward to some great pics.
