Key fob not working

I replaced the battery on my key fob for my 2000 coupe. Now it doesn't work. Put the old battery back in and it doesn't work now either. Any help?

Did you "resyncronize your transmitter" after the battery swap? I've had to do this several times, it's pretty easy. Instructions are in my 2000 manual on page 2-11 right after the battery replacment instructions

Point it at the car while holding down the lock and unlock buttons until the horn beeps. If that doesn't work, pull up the TRAIN FOB option on your DIC and do it from there. All set.

Key Fob Not working.

I had this same problem last week. I did both things you said, but it will not work. I have even tried 3 times for both items. Just gave up. Any ideas?

Buy a new fob.
