New tires! - advise
I am in the market for new rims and tires I have narrowed it down to C6 Z06 wheels chrome. Now can anyone recommend a good set of tires to go with? And does anyone know of any sweet deals out there or where to go. Any input would be appreciated.

call chris at corvettegarage.com, they have a special right now on their z07 (which is almost the same as the z06). Ordered mine from him last week--great dealer!! I had the BFG KDW II on my old vette, good grip and wont break the bank.

Michelin Pilot Sport instead of Goodyear OEM
Michelin Pilot Sport - Much better ride, much quieter, and no more 'wandering' when on grooved pavement. Blows the Goodyears away.
I thought all the write-ups on the various forums and with Tire Rack were suspect, but having had my set for six months now, I am a believer in the Michelins.
BTW, the new ZR1 is coming with Michelins, not Goodyears.
