steering column tilt function not working

steering column tilt function not working

Has anyone had this problem? Went out for lunch today and the tilt was working fine. Returned to the car and tried to tilt the steering column and it wouldn't tilt. It's locked in the up position. The wheel telescopes and steers fine. I had no prior indication of any problem.
