I own a Baer BBK (13"fr and 14"rr rotors)and would love to change my C5 ZO6 calipers that are on it now for an upgrade. The problem is my first choice will not fit (C6 ZO6 calipers). HRE told me this after I contacted GM, Gene Culley, and other people with knowledge, the offset just doesn't work. I then went to the new Willwood polished caliper that just came on the market. Willwood says it will not work with the Baer rotor. I hate the idea of changing my wheels which would be the easy answer.
Does anyone have a suggestion for an upgrade of high quality calipers that will go with my Baer rotors? Please do not respond if you don't have first hand knowledge, no guesses please. Thanks everyone ahead of time. Dale

Hi Dale,
Why do you want to keep the Baer rotors, why not sell them and use the Wilwoods ?
I have 14" wilwoods all the way around. The 13" ones work with the stock 17 and 18 rim combo.
You could look at the LG package for the front and keep you stock rears.
Tony, I was trying not so spend more money right now. That is a good idea though. I like that setup. The LG setup is nice! I have HRE 540' s (18x9.5,18x10.5 with C5 ZO6 calipers). The problem with getting the C6 ZO6 calipers is the offset will hit the wheels and grinding them down is not an option. I guess I will have to sell this Baer BBK and purchase a complete new setup. That is the easiest thing to do, but I am trying this post as a last resort. Someone out there might be able to help me. Thanks for the idea though.
I know what you mean about not spending any money right now. Economy is a little sour.
Not sure if your wheel offsets could be changed by HRE by changing parts around and what they would charge to do it.
My bro has LG kit up front on 17" wheels using stock Z06 rims, no spacers.
