I bet you broke one those little plastic connectors that allow
your seat to go up and down. Does the front of the seat still go up and down?
It can be fixed, but it's very expensive and time consuming.
Either put a phone book under your seat and forget about it, or buy
a used rail, in the parts section.

I used thick rubber spacers, put in just the right spot to give me the right height, otherwise you're looking at over $250 for a used rail. The plastic connectors are not available parts for replacement.
If the plastic connector is the part of the motor assy (see pic). Just replaced mine ($630.00 thru Chevy. Part isn't available alone. Sorry dude and good luck!!

Do you have a picture of where you put the thick spacers?
