Default Summer season miles

While driving home after visiting my parents I was wondering about how many miles forum members drive the C5 a year. My C5 is not my DD but I do drive it every chance I get. I bought my '99 Nassau Blue FRC this summer in Bridgewater, Mass. and drove it home to Iowa. My trip two odometer reads 6,300+ since May 6. How about you guys, are you putting on the miles?

I put about 3000 miles .. it's mostly just driving around for fun. For me it's just a big toy not a daily driver.

Maybe less than 3000 miles this year. That was taking long trips. South Dakota to Missouri and back and one way from South Dakota to Michigan. Don't get me wrong. I love to drive my car(s) but no time My 2007 1000 GSXR has 572 miles on the clock and it has not been driven since November 2006

Not quite 5k/year.
Mostly a good weather car, and a vert.
It felt strange to drive about 200 miles last week with the top up.

I always drive my newer Vette about 5,000 miles a year and each of the older ones about 2,500 miles a year. About 13,000 miles a year of Corvetting

I put about 7,000 on it last year, but about 4,000 were from long road trips. One trip from Texas to Illinois, the Hot Rod Power Tour, and a few other smaller trips.

The last few years I had my '00, I was putting about 2500-3000 miles a year on the car. First year and a half I had it though I put 16.5K miles on it.

Over the three years I've owned the vette I've averaged about 8000 miles per year. I wish I could drive it more, but my job requires a lot of driving off road.

Mine is not a daily driver, strictly for weekend 100-200 mile breakfast runs with my wife and friends in their cars. Maybe 2,000 miles total for the year.
However, this summer was particularly wet with monsoon rains which seemed to come mostly on weekends. The cost of fuel didn't help, either. So, if I put 800 miles on my car this year it would surprise me.

Mine is a DD and I use it every chance I can. I have averaged close to 20k a year on her. She has been around the country and a few other long mile runs. At a 109k miles she runs and still looks GREAT. No major failures of any type.

I managed to log about 4,000 miles this year. I did not do any long road trips. I am planning to attend the NCM 15th anniversaary nexy September. That trip adds about 2,500 miles for me.

About 4000 for me this year, 2500 last year. She now has about 22K on the odometer. I'm done for the year and am in the process of cleaning her up before I throw the cover on.
