Default Does anyone make C5 painted engine caps?

I have looked at Pipedreams, Atomic Autosport, MAM, RPI, CCA, etc. Several have OEM painted caps or billet body color painted slip over caps available for C6, but not C5. My car is TR and I just want very subtle under hood stuff. Black battery den cover, black brake reservoir cover, and set it off a little with TR caps and maybe TR radiator shroud. Don't want anodized or any red that is close but not right on, which is why I am not getting a catch can either. Should I just take my caps to a local body shop and have them base/cleared?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Jeremy that might be your best bet......there is a body shop in Grain Valley, which is close to Blue Springs, that has done several "repaints" of Corvettes...a quick call around, might result in a new friend.

Also, call Adam Parker, with Cable-Dahmer and tell him what you are looking to do, he is a Service Writer, a wonderful resource...tell him that you met up with KC-Vette on Corvetteforum and he should be able to steer you in the right direction...

Hey Steve. Thanks. Who is the body shop in Grain Valley?? I was wondering about Corvette Specialists in Blue Springs too. I have a friend who is an insurance adjuster and used to work at Cable, so I may call her too. I was just hoping there was an easy solution to this. Though, just dropping off the stuff locally and picking it up in 2 days is awfully easy if the price is right! I can't imagine it would cost much over 200 or so to paint 6 caps, the fuse box cover, and the radiator support cover.

Where do you live at? I am down south on Moreland School Rd.

Good to see some local guys on here (Lees' Summit here). I too have utilized Adam Parker over at Cable-Dahlmer....he's real vette lover.....hooked me up with contacts to get my cam installed. Good group of people.
