Just finished the basic installation of NXT Exhaust on my `01 vert. Piece of cake. Did it in my garage with a floor jack and a couple of jack stands. Didn't even have to cut the over-axle pipe. I just took the four bolts out of the rear sway bar brkts and tipped it down. Gave me plenty of room. I'm going to have to get some different clamps, as I've seen in other posts. I do see what others are talking about that the mufflers hang kinda low, but not bad. I have some final adjustments after I change the clamps and it'll be pretty cool, I think. The tips came out perfectly aligned. I think while I've got the rear jacked to the moon I'll fix the leaky butt, change the fuel filter and try to find the cause of the clunk when shifting from park to drive or reverse and hopefully get that fixed, too.
Happy Halloween!!!!

You can't post about an exhaust install without pics and a video soundclip. I've had my eye on the NXT and am hoping to hear one in person to finally push me into buying one.
I have he NXT exhaust and am quite happy with it.
Nice deep rumble at idle and very aggressive when getting on it.
Cruising noise is pretty good.
Of course my wife doesn't like it when you stomp on the gas, too noisy, they just don't get it do they!!!

Lots of wives are like that!! Mine gives me some slack there as long as no noticeable drone on the road.(Corsa Touring here,,,For now) She didn't even give me static when I ran around with straight pipes for a week+ between trips to the strip. Finally put the mufflers back on when I had to be in my cousins funeral procession,,,Man did they sound quiet after straight pipes!! Enjoy the NXTs !! I'd like to see what GM would/could do IF they did not have to meet all the regulations!?!

Well, the guys that sell them are really great people, if that helps. I still haven't figured out how the hell to get pictures from Photo Bucket to the Forum, let alone sound I did fire it up in the garage and man do they sound wicked. It's still up on stands while I finish the other stuff I'm doing to it. I can hardly wait to get it on the road. Just make sure you buy six good heavy duty exhaust clamps, preferably stainless flat band style. I'm still waiting for mine to get here so I can replace all the ones that came with the system. It's hell livin in the boondocks!
