Default Bugs

I was just curious what you use to get all the bugs off your car? I bought some bug off stuff at autozone and it didn't really help at all. My front end is caked with bugs and it is pretty annoying.

This is gonna sound weird to ya, but I'm not kiddin' Try WD-40 it works, it prepares the surface for bugs in the future, and is safe for your paint. (it just smells odd)

I try to get them as soon as I park it. But sometimes thats hard to do, so you can lay wet towles on the front to keep it moist for a while before you wash it make the most of the bug splatter come off pretty easy. You may still need to use a bug and tar remover on the tuff ones.

Soap and water always worked good for me. Of course, a good coat of wax helped a lot.

Next time use Rejex as your paint sealant. It is so slippery that in most cases the bugs rinse off.
When it comes to washing just soak for a couple minutes and wipe with a car wash mitt.

As mentioned earlier - WD40.
I also like "Stoner" bug and tar remover.
Apply to a wet surface. Work small sections and do not let it dry on the car.
I will sometimes use a "bug sponge". It is a sponge covered with a mesh.

After you wash the car use a clay bar. Take your time, it will be worth it. Then put a good coat of wax on it so the bugs will wash right off next time.

Before going on an extended trip I spray a bit of PAM cooking spray in a rag then wipe down the front nose section of the car....

You can't notice that it is there and the bugs just wipe off !!

I use turtle wax bug and tar remover. Works really well and leaves a wax like shine when you buff it out.

Another vote for soap and water here! Just don't let them stay on there too long. I find myself washing the car at least once a week.
