Default Car covers and static electricity
Is there a "cure" for static in car covers? My Noah cover gets so full of static that it bites me as I roll up the cover while removing from the Vette. As I roll it up across the windshield you can hear it popping very loudly!

And I HATE GETTING SHOCKED!!!!!

If the car is in your garage, us a clip on wire jumper from radio shack (our other vendors) to ground it to something metal. That should solve your problem.

LOL......When I took my cover off my 79 this past Sat I think I got zapped about 20 times. It was actually the first time that ever happened...

Try it on your cars metal frame, which is grounded to the battery, I don't think that will work but give it a try.
