Doors are locked. Battery is out. Hood is closed.
Tell me where the key hole for "Use the key" is.

Had this happen to me last year. I parked the vette about 2 inches away from the wall on the driver's side. I then locked everything, crawled out the passenger side, and disconnected the battery. You can use the key, but only on the driver's side. In the spring, I had to use a broom stick and a piece of wire to reach in through the driver's door to unlock the passenger side.

As stated above, just use the key(driver's side)

rskeller,

You are in the C5 forum and you have a C6. THe C5s still hadve a key in the driver's side door whereas the C6 does not. Try asking your question on the C6 forum. Wish I had a 2008 C6.

Sorry. I am a dumb a$$. Scotch is a bad thing.
I didnt realize there was a key hole on drivers only. Its freezing cold here and I didnt want to check both sides before I wrapped it up.

No worries. That was a good laugh though Heck, it took me a second to figure out you had a C6, even though you have it in your avatar

Just put a drummer in and they'll figure out how to get out by spring.

I sold my C5 to my neighbour to get my C6, and for the life of me I could not remember if there was a spot for the key. He has the Vette locked up at his cabin, we had to check pictures to see if there was a spot for the key after everyone said use the key. At first we had no idea what you guys were talking about, maybe we should be on here when we are not drinking

The key on the C6 goes in just above the rear license plate. This opens the rear deck. Once inside, on the driver side of the storage area is a pull that opens the drivers side door.

Nah, I think we'll need to find a bass player for this one.
