Default OK one last mod.....

I am picking up my beast from the shop in Michigan on the 11th. Car went in there for fully forged motor, tricked out 8 rib setup, full return A&A fuel system that is boost referenced and 3.42 gears along with bunch of other misc. stuff. My new setup made 19.8psi of boost and enough power that should automatically be illegal

While the car was in shop going thru this major overhaul I was bored here in snowy South Dakota and decided to go for one final mod. Yeah, this one is final

Most of you know I went back to stock pop up headlights after owning the original Specter Werks C5R with 6k HIDs for about 5 years. I was just bored with the look.

Here is what she looked like before.....

and here is back to the stock look........

After being spoiled with the HIDs in projector housings for 5 years, and driving an Escalade and a Benz (both stolen) as daily drivers, I just could not live with the OEM candle lights I think GM should have came up with the feature that as soon as it got dark and lights popped up, the car should have gone in Reduced Power mode and top speed restricted to 50 MPH

Simply putting HIDs in stock housing and blinding oncoming traffic is just not my style and way too cheesy IMHO.

So after months of searching... I finally got my hands on these!

I will be installing them sometime the first week of December as there is nothing else left to do to the car

So, yeah...... this one is final mod I guess

I like the breather you put on the oil filler. Did you do it for added looks or change something that you had to do it? Do you have the part number of the breather? How is it installed?

Those headlights are great. I just don't drive enough in the dark to warrant them..

I think I've got one final mod left also. Oh, wait a minute. I've got a Dewitt's sitting in the garage now so maybe 2 more mods. Then there's the PFADT trans brace on top of the tool box to install. Oh, and I might add ........................................ ................

Cheesy stock headlights

I can't wait to see the new ACA's installed...You soooo know I am waiting for it And of course can't wait to hear about the new beast I think we should watch for some new seat covers because I am SURE you will have some more brown spots that will need to be cleaned She was scary before I can only imagine how scary she will be now but of course--anyone that rides is in GREAT hands

And "last mod"??? Ok--we'll go with that cause it sounds good but I soooooo know better

It won't be long now..I'll be praying for a safe trip next week

And BTW---your snow is all over the news...Man you got buried Hope the night went well with how bad things were there Be safe out there

The car is going to be a beast and I like the new headlights you will install. But I don't believe for a minute that this is the last mod.
