hello i recently bought a set of chromed speedline z06wheels and the center caps dont seem to fit tight? does anyone know if this is normal? how can i tell if the center caps are oem? oh and is there anyway to tell if the tpms sensors are installed or not? thanks 396chevy
I have seen problems with Center caps fitting before on OEM wheels and aftermarket wheels. They seem to move around even though they will not fall off, they seem to rattle. I fixed this problem on my wheels by taking little pieces of rolled up painters tape and putting it where the center caps "snap" in. This makes it a little harder to get the caps in, but once they are in, they don't rattle at all.
I used self sticking velcro on the tab that snaps on the wheel. I just used on 4 tabs that have that slight claw that snaps to the wheels and it worked fine and not visible also. This was on my C6. Hope that helps. easy fix
