Do some searches on the forum. This happened to me a few years ago and if I remember correctly the "fix" was a new battery. Had something to do with the computer having to reset itself. Anyway I found the answer here. Best corvette place in the world.
Is this normal to happen? I live in FL, hot weather if that matters. Says warming up and then says that it has completed warming up.
I used to have the service abs/tc system errors but now after replacing the battery that has gone away for now, but this hasnt.
Just wondering if I got lucky with those errors leaving and if this is normal or just a sign it still has the problem.
Thanks
Mine has done this since I bought it. The only thing I have found that is strange is that it doesn't happen every time I start the car. I comes on every few days, but not every time I start the car. At first I thought it had to do with the outside temperture, but that wasn't the case as it comes sometimes when it's cold and sometimes when it's hot outside so I never pay it much attention.I start the car, put it in gear and drive about two hundred feet and it always says: "Active handling warming up" stays lit for about ten seconds then it says: "Warmup completed" and a chime, the light goes out and it won't happen again for a few days? So it doesn't show a warning so I don't pay any attention to it?

With the second generation Active Handling it is more prone to happening when, after first starting, you drive at a low speed with the wheels turned. This causes to the computer to attempt to "orient" the Active Handling to determine what a straight line is to allow the system to function properly.
I asked this same question a while back. It is normal. Even though cold can make it go off, it can also happen if the system is confused about the orientation of your wheels. So starting off on uneven terrain or I think even starting with a sharp turn can make it reconfigure. Something like that anyway... don't worry about it. I my case, I had the left wheels up on the sidewalk and the right wheels on the road when I took off (uneven).

They should have made it say something like Active Handling Calibrating.
Mine said that yesterday. I shut it off, because I was going to quickly pull out into traffic where there was barely room for me. It got a little sideways, and the message said "Active Handling Warming Up."
I thought it was weird...Especially since it was off.

This sounds like the case with my car. I saw it for the first and only time since owning the car, after I started it in a parking garage. I did half a dozen low-speed turns as I snaked my way down the ramps to the exit.
