LTs with a straight pipe exhaust will be VERY loud
The B&B bullets (even without LTs) are also very loud.

Nxt Step catback, loud with stock manifolds, loud as all hell with headers and no cats, yet no droning.

I agree, GHL here as well. I love my exhaust, it has a nice aggressive tone at idle, and a intimidating sound at WOT. It cant be beat.

visit this site

although not as good as the real thing, it is a good proxy allowing you to hear the relative differences via your computer.... It should at least allow you to narrow your list.

You said mean and loud, then you want B&B bullits. Idle, cruise or accel, theyre always loud.

B&B Bullets or Borla Stingers are good choices for loud catbacks.
