I bought mine with no cats and it does get pretty bad at a stoplight with the windows doesn and if I forget to put the ac on recycle the car fills with fumes. I really don't mind it, but I don't like it when I'm riding with someone.
I'm going to get some cats partly for that, but mainly to quiet it down and keep it a little closer to legal. I love the way it sounds without, but it definitly can get some bad attention.
