Default New Vette Owner

Hey, just wanted to say what's up. I purchased this Vette (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-c...ite-coupe.html) last weekend and joined the Corvette family. I come from the Camaro/motorcycle world. Unfortunately my Camaro was hit and totalled, so I figured I'd go ahead and upgrade. I liked the new Camaro a lot, but I'm not a fan of buying first year production cars and I think the RS/SS is priced way too high.

Anyway, wanted to say hi

Roy

Haha, well mine was a huge tease. I actually bought it the weekend of the 8th and had to leave for work travel on the 10th. I came back last Saturday and the DMV was closed, so I couldn't register it/get it inspected until this morning.

But ya, there were many times where I just went into my garage and stood in awe. In fact, Reese (previous owner) added this insane sound system to it and the Sunday before I left, I watched half of a movie (Batman Begins) in the vette before my girlfriend came and told me to finish it inside.

I've definitely had a blast with it. I have to leave again Thursday, but I'm back next Monday and don't have anything planned until Christmas. Plenty of time to have fun
