I was staged out of Ali Al Salem, Kuwait. I flew combat sorties into several different air bases in Iraq and Afghanistan. I was fortunate enough to be on the very first C17 into into Tiblisi, Georgia on day 2 and 3 when the Russians invaded. It was a pretty intese 48 hours.
