I found my car 1100 miles away. I sent the guy $1,000 and told him I'd be there in 10 days. My wife and I flew in on Saturday, looked at the car, paid him, and drove it home. We stopped at a great hotel on the way home, and got home Sunday night. We had an uneventful trip home (except that we had a great time) and the car has been great.
I had seen pictures of the car and unless they were completely falseand the engine was in a box, I felt OK with it.
I wouldn't recommend this to others, but it worked out well for me.
