I'd rather be able to run the diagnostics on a C5 than have a personalized message - personal preference I guess.....

Not an opinion - a fact. You cannot bring up the diagnostic codes on the C6, but you can personalize it. As I stated - I would rather be able to have the diagnostics than a personalized message - as the conclusion that can be drawn is that you cannot have both, since that is how they function.

with you, though not sure why you added Guess I'd have to say I'd take my 08 C6 Z06 over the C5 DIC diagnostics, but that's just personal preference.
