Im ussually on the c5 section but my buddy is buying a c3 77 vette and we were wondering besides gene gulley where can we look up the vin number and get the info on the car.

Just a guess, but I think the National Corvette Museum will sell you a reprint of the window sticker if you have the VIN.

Good luck on finding anything for a '77... Unless you know the original dealer and can obtain some paperwork from them, your only real hope is a previous owner.

The build sheets and window stickers are available from the NCM but only for cars produced after the move to Bowling Green (mid '81). Before that it's a shot in the dark.

Two other possibilities are if it happens to be a Canadian Corvette, they retained data on all Corvettes shipped to Canada and IF the car still has it's build sheet attached to the gas tank...
