I have a buddy that owns an '03 Z06 in Electron Blue with the '08 style Z06 wheels in the Competition Grey. They do look nice against the blue.
I think the color looks good - I think the Mazda wheels are a little busy on a C5 though.

Gotta agree, Nice color and looks good with the EB but I don't think it does anything for the style of the C5.
