Can anyone find out if this guy can be loaned to GM? Maybe, GM can take this video to the hearing on Dec. 2, 2008. This would really give those Senators and Congressmen somthing to hope for.
WOW! This is amazing stuff.
Seriously, does anyone one have Rick Wagoner's ear? This needs to be seen by more people. People that count. This is electric and it is working, not some concept car on an engineers desktop.
I believe if it were available I could be coaxed into putting this in my C5.
There is an electric rail that I see at the strip all the time. I believe it runs in the 10's, and I don't recall if he broke into the 9's last year or not. But I know they were shooting for it.
Maybe GM can set up some kind of noise maker sound system for the rear end so other drivers will THINK you are burning fossils.
Years ago, a piece of cardboard (Ace of spades) clipped on to a bicycle fender brace with a clothspin made a nice rumbling sound; one or two missing spokes helped make that distinctive dual-exhaust flathead Ford V-8 sound.
Perhaps the new electric Corvette could have some enhancements to the navigation system with loud speakers mounted in dummy exhaust pipes. On proper command the voice recongnition system could simulate WOT and of course (no smoke) BO's .

Maybe something like a nitrous switch that kicks in when you floor it!! A big rumbling woofer aimed out the back through some fake pipes!! It is amazing that the big manufactures spend billions to create ungodly expensive white elephants that don't work very well,,and so far the most practical thing they can come up with is "hybrids" many of which can't match the MPG of our C5s!! Yet this guy can build this in his garage for comparative peanuts,,,,Go figure!! As stated the big three need to consult with this guy!!!
