Im sorry but the full black back bumper is ridiculous. Just because a "z06" has it on it doesnt mean its cool!
Ricer Ricer RICER. Thats what ricers do is have mutipule colored pannels. If your gonna do something custom then do it custom but It looks ricer to paint a bumper black entirely black and leave the rest another color!
the black at the bottom looks good.

I think this scheme looks good. It reminds me of the old Vettes with this stripe configuration:
I wonder how it would look to take the stripe around the rear bumper like the old one, not just on the rear face. It would follow the profile of the rear down the side. Also with the addition of the stripe down the top/center tying in, like the car in this pic. This would be a cool photoshop exercise. If someone would like to try it I would love to see it.

My "do your homework" comment was supposed to make the point that most of what the import community is doing to their cars is nothing the American sports/muscle car community hasn't already done. It's just a different (and usually less tasteful
) application. Even the ginormous wing showed up on the old Daytonas and Superbirds. 
I think the painted rear fascia has a nostalgic quality about it. Not everyone will agree. Hopefully though, not everyone who disagrees will come in here saying that Corvettes with painted rear fascias are an attempt to copy junkyard bound Honda Civics. That's ridiculous.
