Default Just exercised self control

I was at work when my neighbor calls and says there is a black Honda Civic, blacked out windows, fart can exhaust, in my driveway. I start thinking who it could be. He then states two black KIDS just got out of the car and are trying to get in my house door. I scream call the cops I’m on my way. All my friend’s KIDS are grown or out of state in collage. I work 35 min away from home. It took every bit of will power not to find out what the top end of the vette is. I maintained a safe speed and when I reached the house the Police had one in custody and three at the Apt. complex down the road. I am waiting to see what they are going to return to me.

Cooler heads always prevail. Glad the police caught someone. Looks like they have been watching your movements. Great neighbor, buy him a beer

Dude, do something amazing for your neighbor. I love hearing stuff like this with a happy ending. I would consider installing a few security cameras just in case. Because regardless if something is stolen, it can always be replaced.

These stories obviously don't always turn out as well...
Another story I just read this a.m. about a 62 year old home owner who noticed a car burglar reaching into his unlocked/window down car in his driveway.
He grabbed his .45acp and went out to confront them himself. The car burglar took the pistol away from the homeowner and pistol whipped him with it. The homeowner required emergency medical attention.
They left with his .45acp pistol, probably more than they would've gotten from his car.
Probably giving them the ability to do even more serious crime...think of having that on your conscience.
