Default Seat issue

I am having an issue with the stock drivers seat. I have had sparcos in the car for a long time, well I traded back for some stockers. The problem is my car doesnt have memory seat option but whenever I unlock the car it moves the seat as if I had memory, and it doesn't return to where I adjusted it? I didn't think the memerory was in the seat? Has anyone else had this issue? If so is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

There is a adjustment in the computer options (check manual). Its designed to move the seat back when you open the door, and move it back to your driving position once you close the door. I always have my seat all the way back and I had this function Enabled (woops). This function seemed to do strange things because it was all the way back. I found sometimes when I got in it would be way forward for some reason. I Disabled the function and my seat now stays where I left it last time i was in it.

Maybe you have same issue ? Turn off that computer feature.

Do you remember how you turned it off?

Id like that I dont have a manual anymore.

Ok its not the "easy seat entry" in the options, that is turned to off. It only happens when I hit the unlock button then goes all the way back, and put the front all the way up?

Sorry for the late reply. Work is crazy lately. I don't have time to do anything lately.

Here is a link to down load the C5 manuals.

http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...-links-c5.html

I downloaded the 2004 manual. Go to page 3-54 (and 3-56). See "Seat Easy Entry ON". Disable that feature. It helped me with my seat doing some weird things. I figure I confused it since I always have the seat all the way back (given what this "seat easy entry" function is supposed to do).

Hope this helps

Guess I need to read your last post more closely. Sorry... I am not sure whats happening with your situation. I thought for sure it was what I said above because it is what happened to mine.

Hope you get it figured out !

I think the seat may have the part of the memory function in it, I found the wire in the connector that was making it move and disconnected it. Disconnecting the wire effected nothing but the issue I was having.
