Is it true!!

Well im not sure if its true but a buddy of mine told me that heads from a 5.3 truck are little better then the stock corvette heads is it true...

from what I know they are better than the 241 heads but not as good as the 243's. don't have any flow numbers though.

They only flow better when cnc ported and are milled a tad for higher compression than the LS1 heads.

They flow better when ported, but the main item of interest is they bump compression a bit. That can be good or bad depending on your build goals. I have the 5.3 heads fully ported by TEA and they raised compression to 11.1:1 but they also flow much more than ported 243's.
