Default Headers Install

Looking for those of you that have installed headers...are there any that can be installed from the top down on both sides and only using jack stands ? or I'm I going have to use a lift of some kind?

I did my AR 1-7/8 headers from the bottom on jackstands without much issue.

I installed mine in my garage using jack stands & floor jack. One side installed from the top & one from the bottom. If memory serves me correctly, I believe you have to get the front of the car around 22-24 inches off the floor. I installed LG Streets. Just take your time & it's not too bad.

I installed my LG streets using jack stands. One from top, one from bottom. They go right in and were easy to do.

Installed SSAC's on a lift, passengers side in from the top by just removing 2 coil packs, drivers side in from the bottom by moving alternator and taking off 3 coil packs. Neither side required the valve covers to be removed.

I also did LG streets on jack stands with floor jack. Left from bottom and right side from top. Not hard just time consuming.

So that's it? I've been shying away from this mod on my Vette because of the experience I had putting headers on my LT1 F body. That was a good 8 hours of pain and displeasure. Just like the tune up.
