Where can I buy the screen that matches the Z06 Fog Light Screens?
I'm going to have the front plates made in real carbon fiber and also fiberglass with the screens. Also Purolator Filter A2255 fits in there perfect so dirt in the engine bay is not an issue.

Here is a source that was posted on the forum a while back:
The correct mesh is .041 #5 316 stainless, available at the Metal Supermarket. You need about 2 square feet to do the side gills, rear exhaust louvers and front brake intakes.
I emailed http://www.mcnichols.com/ and this is the reply I got:
Offering 304 Stainless Steel
5 mesh .041" wire diameter
Lot Price $50 Delivered
This would be a 1' x 3' piece of wire cloth.

Not sure why they call it cloth.

I thought you werent going to do this part anymore. Let me know if this has changed as I would like to get this done as well as the other parts we discussed.
Yea I picked up mine a few weeks ago. With shipping the cost was $27.44 for a 5"x5" screen. Seemed a little steep but I couldn't come up with a different source.

If you read the thread...I'm investigating having these manufactured for me in real CF and also fiberglass. I needed to get the source of the screen so I could give it to the company that is trying to get me a price for these. At this time I am not offering any more front screen plates.
I will let everyone know how this plays out.
any chance you will be doing the wiper cowl cover (complete) in real carbon fiber?
I'll save you several hundred dollars.
A Real CF cowl cover is $12-1500.00.
It is still a cover.
I have new GM cowls finished in Hydrographic CF for $295.00 shipped.

Yes, I knew you made the hydrocarbon, but my problem is the match with my haltech CF airbridge, k&n filter, and manifold cover and how different it might look, as of now the CF weave matches and I would want the cowl to flow just as well...Btw that is a beautiful cowl aswell as the rest of your products

I understand what you are saying. Several forum members have installed my CF along side real CF and they all said that they really liked the match. Here is a pic of one of those cars with my CF and real CF.

I don't remember whose car this is.
