cats

I know you are not suppose to do this ,so i was just wondering.If you cut the cats out of your exhaust,will it change sound or performance.Would you have to modify anything?Remeber i was just wondering!

You may gain a bit of power, most say 5hp or less. Sound won't change a huge amount. You would also get check engine lights without a tune or O2 sims.

Don't do it!

My car has off road pipes on it and the noise and fumes are ridiculous with B&B Bullets.

I just ordered cats for my car and can't wait to put them on

Mine were gone when I got the car. I like the sound, but it back fires a bit on deceleration. The sound is better than with the cats overall. I had a stock Z before I got this one, so I can compare. The fumes are a little strong at times, but not really unbearable. I would say though, if you have them on, just leave them there. Its not worth the effort versus the gains.

I went from a stock Z to one with Kooks long tubes, B&B Bullets, and off road pipes.
Totally opposite ends of the spectrum lol. I don't mind loud, but the drone at 70-75 is a killer.
