I need some help , I purchased a Harman / Kardon drive and play and I need to know what cable adapter I need to power it from the 12 disc cd connector in the trunk ( C5 ) I already installed the screen in the ash tray and the controller in the cup holder and have it all connected to the Electronics Enclosure behind the passenger seat ?
I posted it in the audio section , but not many people looking in there!

When you connect your IPOD using these methods, do the IPODs charge while in use or is it draining power off the IPOD battery?
I am considering installing a Kenwood NAV/MP3 unit and then wiring the IPOD connector into the glovebox since I will be able to control the IPOD menu via the touch screen. However, I'm curious if if the IPOD stays charged.

Thanks!
NO, it doesnt charge the IPod - its just a way to connect directly to the amp in the stock radio.
I would like to thank STINGRAY71 and Jay from Discount car Stereo , for all there help and valuable information , it really is a pleasure being a member of this Forum. It's amazing how people reach out and offer to help , with all there experiences , hopefully someday I can pass along some information that will help out as I gain experience on working on this beautiful machine. It turns out that I could have gone 2 ways , get a PXDX ( aux2car) and connect it to the pxhgm4 that I have , and keep everything behind the HU , or I could get a PIE GM10-AUX and connect it where the CD trunk harness is and run it forward to the Harmon/Kardon Elec module.
thanks again to everyone , it's all crystal clear now
