Went to drive the vette last night, turned on the lights and the drivers side HID didn't light up. What gives? I have only had them on the car for about a month now tops. Anything particular I should check? Fuses possibly?
Yeah most likely a fuse issue. I have the same problem with my HIDs. I think the fuse number is 35??? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but mine kept going out, I just replaced it and it was good to go.
The one thing that I've found to stop that happening is not to turn the lights on too quickly. Turn the light stalk once and then a few seconds later turn it to flip the head lights up.
It works for me and hopefully will for you, the other option is to install a new wiring loom directly to the battery but I've found this method works, at least for now.
I just took out the 35 fuse from inside the passenger footwell, and it sounded like there was something loose inside of it. I plugged another fuse of the same size into it and the light still didn't work. Anyone have any suggestions? The 35 fuse under the hood was big and bulky and didn't wanna come out. Where is the amp relay? I didn't install the lights.
