ps cam and springs only have 500 miles on them. He spun a rod bearing on the dyno. He was building a 370 forged on the side decided might as well put it in.

He told me he had the cam ground to go with the heads so I think they will work well.

Read your post. I would save and buy LG pro's or ARH's, or Kooks, all 1 3/4. Also, you say the heads are just ported and polished, I assume then they aren't milled and have the 65 cc heads. The smaller head gasket won't really do that much for you.
Keeping your LS6 intake and TB, with that cam, the streets, you really will be around 400 at best.
On a 114 LSA, you really need plus 4. The plus 2 will hurt you. The ICL on these engines are whats needed to be 110 or less to 109.
Since your doing all this, save just a few more bucks, call Vengence Racing, or LG motorsports. Maybe A&A corvette, as these guys will be honest with you.
On your heads, just above where the plugs are, if it looks like an X pattern, these are good heads, as GM had 3 vendors. The cold cast heads have an X pattern which gave the best runners, intake and exhaust.
This difference in heads, on 02-04 Z06's are the main reason why we see some dynoing about 330-335 rwhp verus's 345-350 rwhp.
Just trying to help. Good luck.......

I just got this pm woundering what you guys think is this guy true think I will only make 400whp that seems low. Any others want to give me some thoughts?

Thats a very big split for an n/a cam. I would stick to between 4-6 degrees between the intake and the exhaust duration. You will make more than 400rwhp, however. Just make sure your P/V clearance is good since you are running a small head gasket

I was planning on running a different cam. But he told me the cam was ground to work with the porting of the heads. I could always sell it and get a different cam.

too much split in the duration, that looks like a blower cam

I'd sell that cam and gets something without so much split. I'm running a 228/232 111+2 which was custom ground for my ported heads. I'd look for something closer to those specs if I were you.

There's nothing at all wrong with the LG streets, so don't worry about that.

ported 243's with a .040 gasket work well even without milling, I gained 32rwhp with that setup and still have good p/v clearance without having to flycut

if I get a different cam it will be more like vipers cam. I am going to ask the guy to just send the heads and pushrods and send me back some money for the cam.

Patrick G or Predator XFI cam? My 224/230 XFI makes as much power as the XERs in the low to mid 230s duration.
