Default O E Wheel Manufacturer

Has anyone had any dealings with O E Wheel out of Sarasota Fla. Looking to do an upgrade on chrome wheels for a 99 vette. Any info would be appreciated.

I've had their wheels on 2 of my Vettes and have been pleased with the looks and quality of them!

You might want to look at Factory Reproductions too. Or just give some of the forum vendors like House of Wheels, TomZWheels or Corvette Garage a call.

Thanks guys !! After checking OE Wheel reviews it doesn't look very good.. I was at Carlisle looking at aftermarket wheels and it seems to me that a lot are made in China. Looking on the forum at pictures of C5's with the repo wheels all look good but do they have good quality?? Are the forum vendors wheels a better quality????? Just need a little more info. Thanks

What you have to realize is that, in the retail business you are ALWAYS going to have someone that was mad at the service and anyone can write a bad review on the internet. Personally I have had great contact with the people there and they have been more than willing to work with me even on a set of wheels that I will potentially buy. They told me exactly what offsets I will need, what colors and sizes are available and so on. Also keep in mind that when people have good service, very seldomly will you hear about it. Bad news is much easier to write about than good.

THEY ARE ALL MADE IN CHINA, PROBABLY BY THE SAME MANUFACTURER.

I just bought a set of OE wheels for my 97. Fronts were fine TPS sensors and all. Rears thanks to the guys at the shop I brougt it to, a shop reccomended by tire rack They had to use a different seal to get the sensors to mount correctly. Anyway all sid and done I am very pleased. I live in Ca. and receivecd the wheels in a week. Free shipping and all. And the y ballanced out fine. Not more than 2ozs of weight on 3 wheels and just 3 oz. and one rear wheel. My other wheels all had 3oz or more weight on 3 wheels and one rear wheel had over 5oz on it. They also sent me free lug nuts that they didnt even mention in there auction..........

I purchased a set of GS style five star wheels for my '93 from them. Make sure to explicitly specify which type of center cap.
