Default The class that drives corvettes

I see alot of Corvette owners and especially ZR1 owners that are very happy to have and drive a Corvette. Most brag about having ZR1s and all but have they seen themselves in the mirror. Of course they can afford to get a ZR1 cause they buy their shoes at the dollar store. I think a little balancing is in due. Just once (ok a lil more) id like to see someone with a Corvette and actually look like he can afford it. This isn't about everyone but man, lets get some class.

Class has nothing to do with the type of car you drive, or the kind of clothes that are worn - let alone where they're purchased.

Jay Leno wears nothing but chambray shirts and Levi's and has one of the best car collections in the world.

You can take a classless jerk and put him in an Armani suit and all of the accompanying accessories, and guess what.....he's just a well dressed classless jerk.

I want my click back, This thread is a worthless piece, It makes no sence at all. The C5 is an 18-20K car and you expect people to dress like it is a Lambo? The way I dress has nothing to do with what I drive, I dress to be at ease and if worn out shoes make me feel at ease so be it. I judge people for who they are not how they dress. Simple. You my man have issues.

Personally I'm happiest in my raggedy azz jeans and sweatshirt.

I wear suits for wedding and funerals only.

I must have missed the bulletin that you have to project a certain image to drive a Corvette.

Keep in mind that anyone can buy any car if he sacrifices enough for it.

Nay, Goode Sir. One should only own a corvette if one is discerning enough to mince about proudly waving his little feather duster. All those of discerning taste know this as true. Those who besmirch our noble cause by actually driving in less than their noblest finery should be publicly flogged and shunned by all those Goode and True. Such vulgarity moves me to stamp my foote and throw my crumpet 'cross the bowling greene!

As I said - Jay Leno doesn't dress up to drive his ZR1....

http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/...tml?vid=867761

Even ownership of a ZR1 (most expensive production Chevrolet ever) doesn't mean you are what you wear. Class comes from what's inside the man (or woman as the case may be), not what's being worn.

You can see why we're confused since the C5 didn't have any flavor of ZR1/ZR-1.

And are you targeting the C3s with RPO ZR1, C4 ZR-1 or the C6 ZR1 owners or just all of them in general?

Looks like a mis-post should be on C4 General? Which would explain everything clearly.
