K&N with holes drilled in frame to zip tie together. No shroud. Looks nice

Cut the air box from original opening all the way down and to the the edge of the straps--hole will be 5 in.down and 9 3/4 in. across--seal sides with cell foam--instant cool outside air and no engine heat getting into air box--looks factory stock

I'm quite happy with my 'Flip Tie' ( I should have used black zip ties though)

The "Flip Tie" mod looks great.

I see some aftermarket CAI's where the MAF sensor is moved back towards the throttle body. Is that better?

do you have to replace the air filter more often since more trash and dirt can get to it???? How does it compare to vara-ram???? horsepower and seat of the pants feel???? thanks.
