Stalls in first gear
This may be a stupid question but this is my first Z06 so I will ask it. When I open it up from a dig it seems that the car is hitting the rev limiter and losing power at about 4800 rpm's. All the other gears redline at about 6500 rpm's. Is it the norm to hit the limiter at 4800 in first gear?

Do you know who tuned the car? That's not suppose to happen.

Sounds like the traction control stepping in. Either turn it off or switch to competitive driving mode and try again.

Even if the traction kicks in, at some point it's going to get traction and rev past 4800...

I'd guess he's lifting the throttle in bewilderment after this happens. Who stays deep in the throttle when a percieved problem is occuring?
