painted the wheels myself, cost me like $30
while doing it, I noticed this was the first mod I did for fun that wasn't repair or maintenance
I couldn't decide between black or bronze. So i'm doing both.
this is the black side. you only see one side at a time anyway, I'll do the bronze next weekend.......
Man that is sick! I've been wondering what blacked out stock rims would look like on a black Z like mine. Thanks for giving me another idea on how to spend money on my car! I was afraid my wish list would drop under two pages.
My personal opinion is that 5 of the six pics were horrible. Nothing against you, but your camera (point & shoot, I imagine) must have locked in on the black of the car and ignored the rest of the frame.
When shooting a black subject in a dark area with a light background, something needs to give. Ideally, the shot should be exposed (metered) against the most medium of the tones in the shot. Also, if you want highlights on the car, you'll need to use "fill-flash" to make it work best.
Nice car, and the wheels look great! :-)

I'm doing it this weekend, i'm so iffy about it
but I guess i'll just take the plunge an see how it turns out. should be alot easier than the black since I'm not going to gloss it. so its just a $10 experiment
this is the best pic I found of it so far on a Honda ofcoarse
I want it to be a bit darker, but that hot it comes.
