Do jacking pucks stay on the car?
Are jacking pucks supposed to stay on the car at all times, or only when jacking?
A little help please. Thanks
Peace. DKCHILD-

I carry mine in the car. I do not leave them installed for fear of them falling out and damaging my car or some one else's. Why take the chance?

Carry them in the car with you so you have them when needed. I feel if they are mounted all the time that is more of a chance to lose them and also the drag issue over speed bumps.

The composite BMW pucks stay in place. They're not even easily removed w/o prying on the snap connection. Mine have been in place for over two years now.
Any other type should be removed to avoid loss or going through a hockey mom's mini van windshield behind you...

I leave them on my car occasionally. That's why I'm always buying new sets.

I would recommend as the others above, don't take a chance on loosing them and just put them in the back of the car after using them.
I bought a 4 pack of pucks from Elite Engineering, and lost one by leaving it on the car.
I take them off after use....now.

My BMW ones are on the car for over 3 years now. Still there last time I checked them.
