any other sizes....let me know
I would get 265-35x18 for the front and 275-40x18 for the rear. Here's why....
Front 265-35x18 is 25.3" overall height and has 822 revs per mile
Rear 275-40x18 is 26.65 overall height and has 780 revs per mile
Both sized tires will fit comfortably on a 9.5" wide wheel and will maintain the necessary stagger front to rear to avoid issues with the traction control. The T/C system utilizes wheel speed sensors on each wheel and assumes as long as the front wheels are spinning faster than the rears all is normal. If the rears spin faster the the fronts - T/C will be invoked.
Believe it or not - if you go to the 275-35x18 for the rear, they are approximately an inch shorter than the 275-40 and you could run into issues.
well i was only asking because i wanted to be able to rotate all my tires. but if i have to get 2 different i cant do that. therefore i would just get the rims with 18' in the front and 19' inthe back. i was tryin to stick with one ize wheel so i could rotate all my tires, but i guess i cant really do that anyway
So lots of guys who track their cars run a square set up...do they always have to turn TCS off (always off on the track anyway but what about on the street)? There is no way to reprogram the TCS to allow it with TCS on?
