I am on vacation in FL at my parents. I drove down from OH Friday and somehow the Left HID does not work. Today we went through troubleshooting and it seems it is the HID itself. I have changed the ballast from side to side and left still did not work so both ballast are good- even checked the inputs and they worked too. I bought this in a group buy about 4 years ago and can't remember from who (seem to remember it had Xtreme in the name) They were about $300 and were plug and play. These changed the entire unit (buls and reflectors). They were available in black or chrome, I think these are 5400K. All my paperwork and my old headlights are back in OH. I have taken pictures of the of the HID unit (bulb) but don't know how to post here. It does say Philips.
I need to have both headlights to go back (Jan 2), so I have some time to get something fixed. Can anyone help me out? Can I buy just the bulb part and screw into the housing? I have not researched yet, but wanted to get this posted as my connection at my parents is not the greatest.
My plan if I can't get it fixed is to put a normal low beam in the high beam socket (in the left side) and then at least I have 2 headlights. The one HID gives enough light for me to see.
I think the company name was RevExtreme around 4 years ago. These replaced the stock reflectors and plugged and play, no wire splicing.
Normally, these bulbs last for a LONG time, so expect to pay quite a bit for a replacement. Make sure you know what ????K you need. I did a couple searches on Amazon, but you'll want to find a bulb that matches the original one.
once you figure out the type of lights you have on the car, I would just disconnect the whole HID setup, buy some regular bulbs from any parts store, plug them in and drive it home, then figure out the rest. That is something i had to do one time. I would not order a new HID kit now because of the holidays and chances are that it will not get to you before you leave.
If your handy, check the low voltage side to make sure you have current at the ballast connector, and of course look for the fuse to be good or not.
This issue drove me crazy for a while and I even replaced the ballast on the problem side. I too had suspected the bulb which would have been a quick and easy fix. When installing the new ballast, I discovered a bad corroded connection oin the high voltage connector line which I had never taken apart. That was my problem, and I was just ready to convert back to the stock system. Spent a lot of money for nothing, but have not had a problem since.
If you know both ballasts are good, then it's most likely the hid bulb that has failed. You can find a pair of these bulbs for about $25 on that auction site. Easy job of replacing the hid bulbs.

good luck and hope this helps
Get some regular bulbs for the drive home since you are pressed for time
Fixed your pics for you. It appears you have the ACA headlights, so you will need to find another Philips HID bulb, and I don't think there is a way to just plug in another regular halogen bulb. Yikes.
you need to check the in-line fuses on the wiring harness for the ACA headlights first, they "should" be somewhere near the fust box under the hood.
I know that on the cars I did the installs on, I put the in-line fuses underneath the fuse box.
someone correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the ACA headlights use the same HID bulbs as the C6?
most ACA kits came with 4300k bulbs, If you do have a bad bulb, you should be able to go to your nearest Chevy dealer and buy a HID bulb for a C6.
Swap the HID capsules (bulbs) from left to right. Sometimes it's the headlight circuit that for some reason gets grumpy. (this happened on my car) If the bulb in question works on the other side, you'll need to run a tap off the working circuit or possibly a relay circuit.
I think I have the HID bulb problem solved. I did a google on the Philips model of the HID and found a place that had them. ( I took the capsule apart and found a model # and other details.) Sent pictures and they knew what it was and I have one on the way. For info I guess this is the same bulb that the C6 uses. I called Chevy dealer. It is $279 plus tax and they have to order. Internet site is $124 total and will be here in 3-5 days. Thanks for the help
