Wow. While I was searching for more C5's, I came across an 05 C6. I was amazed at the price. It has 59K miles, listed for $24K. It has a clean 1-owner carfax. I had no idea that C5/C6 prices are overlapping THAT much already. The C6 even has navaigation/heated seats (but I don't like C6's so I don't know what are standard/optional).

OK, guys, just check craigslist and you'll find them. (For one example, there's a low-mileage 06/C6 in Seattle for $28K.) they're out there -- IF you want one.

I'm talking about $24K C5 though. I'm surprised to see how much C5/C6 prices are overlapping.
If you look you will find C5/Z06 for under 20K, It is a buyers market.
I do. Recently we have like three 02 Z06's under $20K on the forum. I'm well aware of C5 prices. I was just surprised C6's seem to have taken another hit? Maybe that'll push C5's down even more...

^^Probably will. Can't see it not having an effect. The drop in C6 prices have had a profound impact on C5 prices although I imagine they will begin to level out some like C4 prices have.
Two things are affecting prices of both C5s and C6s. First, the bad economy has driven down prices due to buyers being reluctant to spend money and lending institutions not wanting to loan money. Also, prices always drop during the winter and rebound in the spring. My son, who owns a small car lot, told me that he saw a 2007 red C6, with 5K miles, sell for $28K at the local dealers auction. There are some fantastic deals out there if you have the money and really want to buy. However, it is not a good time to be selling.
I would like to see a 2005 Lexus that lists for over 70K?
Me too.. the most expensive Lexus is the LS series... in 05 it was still the LS430. It was under $60K. I'm not sure what kind of options you can add to push it to $70K...
