i don't know if this helps... but with how lowered i am, i have a HUGE problem gettin the car up in the air to do tire swaps or whatever...

So, i took the jack from my 96 suburban. its one of the REALLY low profile scissor jacks. probably stands about 3" off the ground. just enough to stuff under the frame so i can jack it up..

just a heads up for ya guys!

Mine is so low that I can't get a low-profile jack underneath it. I cut four pieces of 2"X12" and drive up on them, which gives me enough clearance for the jack.

I think people are getting confused here... are you scraping the metal frame rails or just the Rubbermaid air dam? There's a huge difference.

Wouldn't do that. If I'm not mistaken, the center section of the spoiler is essential to force air up to the radiator. Overheat.com

I could be wrong but I believe it helps direct the air and keeps things cool

Lowered max amount with front C6 bolts, and longer bolts in the rear. I try to stick to roads I know. I take rail road tracks very slow too. I can only drive in my rear driveway going in forward. Driving in backwards will scrape the front. It takes some getting used to, but its worth the look I think.

It may not effect your cars temps in your area... In the southern states it may effect the cars temps in the summer.

I have heard over the years that some peoples engine temp issues have been fixed with a new front spoiler because there old one was worn down.

Mine is slammed on Pfadt coilovers with no front air dam.

I have no overheating issues and my car is Procharged.

BMG, love that color man. Looks fantastic.

I'm not too concerned with cooling issues...the high for the year in Anchorage last summer was about 72. I am concerned with the quality of roads here. I mean, I scrape now and the car is at the stock ride height.

How many times has your engine overheated when sitting at a stop light? The car magically can control it's temps all of a sudden?

BTW, I live in Florida and have been running NO AIR DAM for a couple of years now.... zero temp issues.
