I believe the Ripper is the shortest of the two. Also if you recall your physics class, the shorter the throw the more effort required.
I like the ripper but some folks have complained it's too stiff. A friend of mine has the Kirban and he likes his as well. They are both very precise and a world of difference from the stocker......
It's more aggressive than the Kirban, but CERTAINLY not a problem, at all. Get the ripper. I've owned many C5's with Kirban's, Ripper, Stock-cut shifters... Ripper, time and again, proves itself!
Bought the Kirban, found at a local shop for $175 it goes on this weekend. Thanks for the input
Eek! You could have gotten the Ripper (or probably the Kirban) from a group purchase HERE at a really nice price (certainly better than $175)... Consider it in the future!
$175 Cash, no tax, no shipping ---- NO WAITING. BTW I do buy a lot from the forum mall and supporting vendors. But I needed it now... I need help
I have the Kirban and am very happy with it. I have had several friends recently install Rippers and they are very pleased with them. Either way you can't go wrong.

LOL I understand... Sounds like me, actually. (I saw your relatively low post count, and wanted to make you aware of the GP's if you weren't already...)
