Default Chrome Lettering insert suggestion?

I'm kinda excited watching and reading about all of your vettes on this forum. It's making me more anxious to customize mine. I only had the vette 5 days and I'm already ordering things for it. Figure I start with the small things and then progress from there little by little. I have a black on black coupe 2002 and I almost oredered those chrome inserts today but then I started doing some research on this forum and I come to realize that red looks good to. So I want to ask the pros on what they think looks better. I'm leaning towards chrome inserts in the rear but I don't know how it would look in the front. Same goes for the red. I can't find any front pics. Which goes better with black on black?

Ha! Ha! The mods will never end!!!!

Personally I like the polished stainless(chrome look)on the black. Then you can get exhaust tips, chrome exhaust port filler, chrome brake caliper shims, etc.

Makes for a nice look IMO.

Check this website out for ideas:

Good luck!!

Congrats, and I can only advise you to run away while you still can - otherwise prepare for financial ruin from all the mods...

I too would suggest the SS (chrome) ones, and SS Inserts is the place to go...

Here is a picture of the red front inserts on a black vette!

Honestly, I would go with the stainless steel (chrome) look though.

Yeah, now that I looked at the website which has the polished stainless steel letters, I'm sold. Are they really made of stainless steel or is it a stainless look. Also, Should I just do the rear or both?

Another Vote for the Chrome/Stainless look. Can't go wrong with Black and Chrome.

And welcome to the forum. Once the mods start, they are hard to stop.

I have a black 02 with the stainless letters. Do both. It looks unfinished if you only do one or the other.
